Gargoyle
Gargoyles are living statues that have been animated by a wizard or vampire. They are a type of advanced stone golem, and are often found guarding dungeons, castles, and ancient ruins. They can form a hard rocky skin when stationary.
Gargoyles are creatures made to serve their masters, though this does not mean they enjoy such service. They are hunters, and enjoy ambushing mortals, usually after long periods of time pretending to be an ordinary statue.
Though their masters would attempt to train these creatures to be perfect subordinates, they can be quite stubborn.
