Ogre

Ogres are large, seemingly dim-witted humanoids found throughout Tamriel. Best known for their great strength and foul smell, ogres have steely blue or greenish skin, pronounced teeth, and elven ears. They have shaggy white hair, which can cover the entire body of those found in colder regions.

Racial Traits

Ogres are considered to be goblin-ken, and worship Malacath like the Orcs and Goblins. Though like Goblins, they know Malacath as "The Blue God". They are often enslaved by other races, a practice which angers Malacath. Especially common in Cyrodiil, ogres are hunter-gatherers who live in small, primitive communities, often inhabiting backwoods and natural caves. Although possessing great strength, they are generally considered nothing more than a nuisance and often steal objects from settlements. However, they are cannibals, and have been known to attack settlements. It has been hypothesized that their grey-blue coloration is a method of camouflage against the sky, although this speculation is considered to have been debunked. Though ogre diet is typically meat-based, some outcasts have been observed to practice vegetarianism, to the commitment of stealing vegetables. Ogres are thought to have a culture of a sort, and construct foul, decorative piles of bone where they lair.

Although usually perceived as dim-witted and violent brutes, ogres have been known to show considerable intelligence.

Unwelcoming

Ogre's are large creatures, renowned for their durability, and low wits.

Ogres gain +4 to their Endurance, and +3 to their strength.

As well as -2 to their intelligence and Personality, and -1 Agility

They also gain +10 Damage Resistance, +7 Magic Resistance, and -5 Resistance to fire.

Ogres cannot wear armor, or enchanted items.

When an Ogre defeats another non-ogre in combat, the Ogre may feast on their flesh to restore a large portion of their own HP.

This consequence inflicts the target with a Deep Wounds effect.

Ogres will typically keep to themselves, and do not want to interact with those other than Orcs, Goblins, or Giants. Unless they are seeking to terrorize the other races.

Description

These massive creatures exhibit a muscular and robust physique, standing tall and imposing. Their skin tone tends to be a grey-blue color, which has led to speculation about its potential camouflage function against the sky, although this theory is considered debunked.

The facial features of ogres are typically rugged and brutish, with pronounced jawlines and prominent teeth. Their eyes, though rarely specified in detail, are often depicted as menacing and reflecting a primitive intelligence. Ogres are known for their considerable strength, making them formidable adversaries in physical combat.

These creatures are often associated with goblin-ken, sharing a connection with Malacath, the Daedric Prince of Outcasts.
